“More Miltown Tomorrow” is a short film creatively directed and photographed by Anna-Maria Schneider. Set in a stylized 1960s-inspired world, the film explores the emotional decline of post-war American housewives who turn to Miltown — a once-popular tranquilizer — to cope with anxiety and isolation. Through atmospheric set design, fashion styling, and surreal visual storytelling, the project examines themes of domestic pressure, mental health, and societal expectations. A fusion of fashion film, conceptual art, and psychological drama.
